Classic Breakfast Waffles

Makes 3 servings

Cooking Time 15 - 20 minutes


  • 200 g CDO REGULAR BACON, chopped
  • 3 pcs egg, medium sized
  • To taste salt
  • To taste pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pc large white onions, finely chopped
  • As needed syrup

For Waffle:

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp white sugar
  • 2 pcs eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups warm milk
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  1. For Waffles: Mix flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar together. Set aside.
  2. Beat eggs in a separate bowl. Stir in milk, butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Mix the 2 mixtures together, beat until blended.
  4. Ladle the batter into a preheated waffle iron. Cook waffles until golden and crisp.
  5. For Toppings: In a frying pan, heat olive oil and fry eggs (sunny side-up). Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  6. In a separate pan, fry CDO HIGHLANDS CORNED BEEF. Mix in onions cook until ausec. Set aside.
  7. Fry CDO REGULAR BACON until crispy in another pan.
  8. To serve: place the waffles on plate, top with corned beef, egg, and bacon bits. Season with salt and pepper. Syrup is optional.
