Classic Jamonado Paella

Ingredients

  • 1 pack CDO PREMIUM CLASSIC JAMONADO 240 g, sliced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup white onions, diced
  • 1 pc green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 pc red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 tsps paprika
  • 2 cups Japanese rice
  • 1/2 cup canned tomatoes, chopped
  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • to taste iodized salt
  • to taste ground black pepper
  • 4 pcs asparagus, blanched
  • 1 cup green peas
  • 4 pcs egg, hard-boiled
  • 1 pc lemon wedges

Procedure

  1. Sauté garlic, onions and bell peppers.
  2. Sprinkle paprika then toast for a few seconds.  
  3. Add Japanese rice and sauté for 2 minutes.
  4. Add CDO PREMIUM CLASSIC JAMONADO and tomato.
  5. Pour chicken stock and bring to a boil.  
  6. Cover pan and simmer for 12 minutes or until rice is tender.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste. Garnish paella with asparagus, green peas, sliced hard-boiled eggs and lemon wedges.
