Beef Rendang

Makes 1 - 2 servings

Cooking Time 10 - 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups CDO READY-TO-USE BEEF CUBES
  • 2 tsps Vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup Onion, minced
  • 2 tsps Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Ginger, minced
  • 1 tsp Bird’s eye chili, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cups Beef Broth
  • 1 tsp Cayenne
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 cups Coconut cream
  • 1/4 cup Peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup Panutcha
  • 1 cup Potato (diced, boiled)
  • 1 cup Carrots (diced, boiled)
  • To Taste Fish sauce

Procedure

  1. Heat oil in a pan on medium. Pour in oil.
  2. Sauté onions, garlic, ginger, chili, and bell pepper.
  3. Add in CDO READY-TO-USE BEEF CUBES. Continue to sauté.
  4. Pour in broth and simmer.
  5. Add in the rest of the ingredients. Season to taste. Simmer gently until meat is tender.
  6. Place in a bowl then serve hot.
